We started the idea to revamp SCMP.com in 2018. We reimagined its digital offering by launching an all-new responsive website followed by a new native app. Built for a mobile-first experience, the platforms have transformed their storytelling capabilities as well as content discovery.
Abacus was one of the new SCMP products about China tech for the rest of the world. Starting from scratch, I helped develop its Branding, Product strategy, and Product design. (Sadly, this product was merged back to SCMP in June 2020 😭)
We revamped the SCMP iOS and Android applications with SCMP.com in 2019, with more personalization features.
As the Coronavirus story grows globally, I worked on this minisite and other supplements to allow the editorial to better curate content for the readers and grow organic distribution.
The goal for this project is streamlining the account sign-in/up flow, adding more account functions and driving user engagement.
SCMP relaunched the paywall in 2020; we helped provide the UX/UI solutions for Meters, Subscription and Account management.
I contributed this mixed-media artwork for this Oxfam HK exhibition to raise awareness about poverty.
